Allmendhubel Flower Trail
The circular Flower Trail begins close to the Allmendhubel restaurant. It takes around 20 minutes and affords exceptional views of the Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau. The starting point on Allmendhubel is reached by funicular railway from Mürren in only four minutes. Set off on a tour of discovery: in the flowering season from June to September, you’ll find over 150 types of mountain flowers including gentians, Alpine roses and varieties of edelweiss. Small information panels along the trail give the name of each flower. Stroll along the Flower Trail; you’re bound to be bewitched by the flora and stunning scenery!
Northface-Trail
Allmendhubel – Blumental – Schiltalp – Spielbodenalp – Mürren (approx. 2 h 30 min.)
The well marked «Northface-Trail» is an approximately 2 hours hike from the Allmendhubel back to Mürren which presents no problems for walkers with appropriate footwear. Its outstanding feature is the breathtaking view of the impressive, often snow-capped North faces of the Bernese Alps. Along the trail 12 information panels provide details of the history of these mountains.
Mountain-View Trail
Allmendhubel – Dorenhubel – Grütschalp (approx. 1 h 30 min.)
The same itinerary as no. 5 as far as Pletschenalp. Splendid view of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Go down to the right towards Rinderhütte and return via the meadows and forest to Grütschalp station.
Children's-Adventure Trail
A hike with the whole family on the Children’s Adventure Trail from the Allmendhubel to Mürren (approx. 1 hour). An afternoon packed with fun and action is guaranteed!
